Modern design with old world craftsmanship create this
unique family retreat. Site stone from excavations were ground and used
for gravel, stonewalls and for concrete aggregate finishes as well as
for landscape retaining walls. Use of earth constructed walls
exemplifies green building techniques and passive solar design. The
project's low profile and use of materials makes this an ideal project
for the Napa Valley viewshed ordinance and was displayed in the Napa County offices as a model project. |
